These two Kolkata ladies are setting new standards with Rum and Chocolate

There are many ways in which Kasturi Banerjee and Rushdah Humaira are special. Kasturi Banerjee is perhaps the first bartender/ mixologist in India with a Rum label ot her name — Makazai Rum — the Shudh Desi Rum. Made in Goa with all local ingredients and from the sugarcanes from Panchaganga, Maharashtra. Rushdah Humaira is the first Bean to Bar chocolate maker in Kolkata and her Rushk chocolates are the talk of the town now.
